As a new blogger, I'd like to second your emotion. What I love is that blogstalking is TOTALLY NORMAL and acceptable behavoir- and a lot of times it's the strangers that are so good about commenting! Except for the ones who anonymously leave links to creepazoid Dungeons and Dragons type stuff. Weird.
RepliKate is AMAZING. You should see the live show. Seriously. Blogg has nothing compared to the real thing.

I have comment envy too. Enough that I am thinking about switching to blogger for my own blogging.

I was disappointed as well. FYI you can go to the "option" on a new post page (or when you are editing a post) and change the comment options there.
And I am all about blogstalking and I agree with f*bomb and her comments about it being totally acceptable.
